Quotation Assumptions
In providing you with a quotation we have assumed the following.
About the Proposer
- That no insurer in respect of a motor vehicle or caravan has ever declined or refused to renew an insurance or imposed special terms.
- That neither the Proposer, nor any member of their family ordinarily residing with them, has ever been convicted of arson or any other offence involving dishonesty of any kind e.g. fraud, robbery, theft or handling stolen goods.
- That the Proposer has not had any accidents or losses during the last 3 years in connection with the use of a touring caravan. We may still be able to offer insurance but terms may apply.
- You must be the owner of the caravan and able, in the event of a claim, to provide proof of ownership.
About the Caravan
- It must be less than 20 years old.
- It must not be used for anything other than holiday purposes. If it is we may still be able to help - please contact us.
- Storage/security conditions may apply in respect of high value caravans, certain foreign caravans and twin axle caravans.
- Insecure and unsupervised storage locations may be declined, as may storage locations from where caravans have previously been stolen.
- Certain foreign manufactured caravans must be referred to us including: - Hobby, LMC, Burstner, Munsterland.
- It is a MINIMUM requirement that a wheel clamp is fitted to the caravan whenever it is left unattended.
